INNOVA Foundation
The work began around home-based care, organic and preventative health practices, physical wellbeing, community support and the wider social conditions that shape how families live.
INNOVA began with community wellbeing work through INNOVA Foundation in June 2018. By June 2022, that social mission had developed a financial-sustainability model: INNOVA Multipurpose Co-operative was founded to organise trade, productive economic participation and member ownership around the long-term wellbeing of households.
INNOVA did not begin as a financial institution. The social mission came first. The Co-operative followed when it became clear that lasting care and community wellbeing also need a productive economic base.

By 2022, the experience of community work had made one principle clear: social wellbeing cannot depend indefinitely on charitable resources alone. A financial-sustainability model was developed to organise member capital, productive activity and trade around the same wellbeing mission.
INNOVA Multipurpose Co-operative was founded to facilitate trade and economic sustainability, build productive member-owned projects and strengthen the resources available for physical, social and household wellbeing.
Community outreach, health and wellbeing education, training, mobilisation, vulnerable-household support and public-benefit activity remain within the Foundation's separately governed role.
The Co-operative organises member capital, trade, enterprise, productive assets, projects and recurring economic participation so that household resilience is built alongside community wellbeing.
Individuals and families usually carry health, care, income and livelihood pressures in isolation. INNOVA organises collective responses to both sides of household wellbeing: how we live, and how we sustain life.
Care, prevention, family support and access to organised wellbeing services strengthen the conditions in which members live.
Trade, enterprise, savings, productive assets and project participation strengthen income, ownership and the ability to absorb household shocks.
INNOVA's project model is designed to build member wealth and recurring income from productive participation, creating an additional layer of resilience around families over time.
INNOVA Multipurpose and INNOVA Foundation maintain separate governance, finances and legal accountability. Their governed relationship allows economic strength and social-purpose capability to reinforce one another without blurring institutional responsibility.
A flagship example of the two visions meeting: member-owned care coordination supported by community-development capability.
